Volkswagen Golf GTI
The popular Volkswagen Golf is offered in a 4-door hatchback form. The Golf GTI is powered by a 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that makes 241-horsepower mated to either a 6-speed manual or 7-speed automatic transmission. The Golf R uses the same engine tuned to produce 315 horsepower.
The Golf GTI is offered in three trims, S, SE and Autobahn while the Golf R is available with only one AWD trim. The S trim comes well equipped with 18-inch wheels, LED headlamps, daytime running lights and fog lights, intelligent cruise control, a heated leather steering wheel, heated front seats, premium cloth upholstery, automatic climate control, 4 USB ports, push button engine start, and an 8.25-inch touchscreen.
The Autobahan trim adds 19-inch wheels, ventilated front seats, leather upholstery, dual-zone climate control with separate rear controls, an HD satellite radio, mobile hotspot, a 10-inch touchscreen, and an integrated navigation system.
The Golf R features 19-inch alloy wheels, auto-leveling directionally adaptive high beams, a power sunroof, a sport suspension, heated and ventilated front seats, 8-way power driver seat, heated rear seats, leather upholstery, driver seat memory, automatic dual-zone climate control with separate rear controls, a premium 9-speaker sound system, and a 10-inch touchscreen.
Standard safety features across the lineup include 6 airbags, a rear camera, parking sensors, active lane departure, blind spot warning, forward and rear collision mitigation, and a pedestrian detection system.
