The 2023 Genesis is available as an AWD or RWD model, powered by a 3.5L twin-turbocharged V6 capable of producing 375 or 409 horsepower mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
Being a luxury car, the Genesis, even in the base Premium trim, comes packed full of equipment that is typically optional in lesser vehicles. Standard equipment includes rain-sensing wipers, power-operated rear sunshades, Nappa leather-upholstered power adjustable front seats with adjustable lumbar support, heated and ventilated front seats.
Buyers get a choice of wood or metal paneling on the interior, standard automatic dual-zone climate control with separate rear controls, a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, Bluetooth and voice-command control interfaces, LED interior lighting, wireless phone charger, proximity-based entry system and an auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink. The Ultimate trim is even more opulent and includes a 12.3-inch LCD display in the instrument panel, ventilated power rear seats with massaging lumbar and a front and rear seat memory system.
