Mercedes-Benz GLA
The 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class is offered in four trims: the FWD GLA 250, AWD GLA 250 4MATIC, and the performance-oriented AMG GLA 35.
The GLA 250 models come equipped with a lively 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that churns out 221 horsepower and 258 lb.-ft of torque. This engine features a 48-volt mild-hybrid system, which gives a little extra kick during acceleration and helps boost fuel efficiency. It is paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, with front-wheel drive as the standard setup and the option for 4MATIC all-wheel drive if you want that extra grip. When you step up to the AMG GLA 35, you will find that the same engine is fine-tuned to pump out an impressive 302 horsepower, and it comes equipped with AMG Performance 4MATIC all-wheel drive as standard. This model features an AMG SPEEDSHIFT 8-speed transmission and boasts an AMG Performance 4MATIC+ system that includes torque vectoring, giving you better grip and cornering capabilities.
Standard equipment on the GLA 250 models include 18-inch wheels with all-season tires, LED headlamps, keyless-start, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and a power liftgate. The interior features a dual 10.25-inch display configuration with digital instrument cluster and touchscreen multimedia display, Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) with voice control and "Hey Mercedes" functionality, a multifunction steering wheel in leather with touch control buttons, and 64-color ambient lighting.
Comfort and convenience features include 8-way power front seats with 3-position memory, 4-way power lumbar support, dual-zone automatic climate control, and split-folding rear seats. Technology highlights include wireless smartphone integration and charging, Bluetooth connectivity, SiriusXM satellite radio, and Mercedes me connect services.
The AMG GLA 35 elevates performance with AMG ride control sport suspension, AMG-specific styling elements, 19-inch wheels, and AMG Performance steering wheel in Nappa leather. Additional performance features include AMG dynamic select driving modes, 3-stage Electronic Stability Program, and enhanced braking components.
When it comes to safety, the GLA really shines. It comes packed with standard features like automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, attention assist, and active brake assist. If you are looking for even more, you can opt for driver assistance packages that include adaptive cruise control, active lane change assist, traffic sign assist, and 360-degree surround-view cameras.
