Honda Civic Sedan
The 2024 Honda Civic is offered as a sedan or a hatchback with plenty of trim levels and a variety of body styles, there's a Civic for nearly every need. The Si is only available as a sedan. The Civic is powered by one of three engines a 2.0L 4-cylinder engine that produces 158-horsepower and 138 pound-feet of torque or a 1.5L turbo charged four-cylinder with 180 horsepower mated to a CVT transmission. The third engine is only available in the Si model a 1.5L turbocharged four-cylinder mated to a 6-speed manual with 200 horsepower.
The Civic sedan is available in four trims LX, Sport, EX, and Touring while the hatchback trims are the LX, Sport, EX-L, and Sport Touring. The Civic Si is only available in one Base trim.
The Honda Civic is well equipped leaving almost nothing out, it includes full LED headlights, auto-high beams, automatic climate control, push-button start, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, and CVT transmission.
The Sport trim adds some exterior styling finishes, 18-inch aluminum wheels, remote start, proximity keyless entry, Sport mode drive, leather steering and shift-knob, and 8-speaker system.
The EX/EX-L models has 17-inch alloy wheels, remote start, heated mirrors, sunroof, Dual zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, rear center armrest with cupholders, and LaneWatch blind spot monitor. Exclusive to the EX-L are leather interior, 6-speed manual transmission, and power driver's seat.
Top of the line Touring/Sport Touring Civic increase the list of features with 18-inch machined alloy wheels, rain-sensing wipers, LED fog lights, auto-dimming rearview mirror, 9-inch touchscreen infotainment, integrated navigation, wireless phone charging, 12-speaker Bose sound system, front and rear parking sensor, rear-cross traffic alert, and low speed automatic braking. Leather seats are standard on this trim, and they are heated and power-adjustable for driver and passenger.
The Si is very similar to the Touring adding specific features such as 200 horsepower from the same 1.5L turbo engine, 6-speed manual transmission with rev-matching downshifts, limited slip front differential, bigger brakes, performance all-season tires, and Si sport from seats.
Safety takes a strong presence in the new Civic. Of course, it includes ten airbags, but low tire pressure warning, backup camera and stability control are also standard on every Civic.
The Honda Sensing system is also standard adding a suite of safety features that includes Lane Keep Assist which will monitor and can even nudge the vehicle back into its lane, forward collision mitigation that will detect an impending accident and can even apply the brakes in certain scenarios, automatic high beams, traffic sign reader, and driver attention monitor.
