Cadillac XT6
The Cadillac XT6 now comes standard with a 2L turbocharged four-cylinder 235-horsepower engine that is available in either front or all-wheel drive with the standard 9-speed automatic transmission.
Powering the Premium Luxury and Sport trim is a 310 horsepower 3.6L V6 engine with a 9-speed automatic transmission. The Luxury and Premium Luxury trims are available with both drive-train options while the Sport trim comes standard in all-wheel drive. The V6 engine in the XT6 features a cylinder deactivation mode, meaning that the car can effectively use the engine as a V4 to save fuel while on the highway or when not under load.
The XT6 comes in three different trims, the entry-level Luxury, Premium Luxury and Sport. The Premium Luxury trim features an attractive looking wood trimmed interior, while the Sport model utilizes carbon fiber throughout the interior for a more performance-oriented feel. Exterior styling also differs between Sport and Premium Luxury models, with the Premium Luxury featuring brightwork around the grill and windows along with 20-inch wheels. Sport models on the other hand offer a blacked-out grill, clear tail lenses and a choice of 20-inch or 21-inch wheels.
The base Luxury trim comes with an UltraView sunroof, power folding heated mirrors, leather steering wheel and 18-inch wheels. The Cadillac XT6 infotainment system comes standard with an 8-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an 8-speaker sound system, six USB ports, wireless device charging, and 4G LTE with Wi-Fi hotspot.
The Premium Luxury trim adds heated steering wheel, leather steering, driver seat memory, ambient lighting and 20-inch wheels.
Cadillac has placed a premium on technology and safety for their new XT6 and standard features include a forward collision alert system, automatic emergency braking, a front pedestrian braking system, front and rear park assist systems, lane change alert, and side blind spot alert systems as well as a lane keep assist function.
